What is my language level?
To establish your language level, you can book a free consultation with Juffrouw Janssen. In this meeting your level can be tested and you can express your language goals and wishes. After the intake meeting I can tell you more about your level:
- Absolute Beginner 0-A1 – You have no previous knowledge of the language.
- Beginner A1-A2 – You have a basic understanding of the language. Language level A2 is the level of the Civic Integration Exam.
- Intermediate A2-B1 – You can cope on a day-to-day basis. B1 is the level of NT2 Staatsexamen Niveau 1.
- Advanced B1- B2 – High level of proficiency. B2 is the highest level of Staatsexamen NT2 niveau 2.
Will I receive a certificate or qualification?
Once you have completed your program of language lessons, you’ll receive a certificate stating the course you attended and the level you reached in relation to the Common European Framework. Additional information can always be added upon request.
Are books included in the course fees?
The books which you will use throughout your course are not included in the cost of the program. In consultation with Juffrouw Janssen, you can choose a book that fits your goals and needs. Juffrouw Janssen is familiar with most used methods and can tell you about the pro’s and cons of most books.
How do I get to Juffrouw Janssen’s office?
If Lisa is not coming to you, you can find her in the heart of Amsterdam. The office at Johannes Vermeerplein 1, just around the corner of the Museum Square, can be easily reached by bike, tram or metro. The tram and metro stops are within a few minutes walking distance. You can plan your trip on OV9292.nl.
